Room 41 - June 8, 2019

Marietta, GA: Z-Escape

Pirates

GM Unknown - Success

This is a competitive room with 2 sides.  If there is another team on the other side is to get to the treasure first.  We played the Pirates side first, then on another day, played the British side.

Room 42 - June 8, 2019

Marietta, GA: Z-Escape

Cells

GM Unknown - Fail (but finished)

Billed as the biggest room in Georgia, this was an incredibly tough room for just the 2 of us.  There is 1 room that has 4 different puzzles that should be completed by one or two people and then all 4 puzzles add to the final puzzle.  This is just one of the puzzles in the second last room.  (There were 5 rooms if I remember correctly.)  We had the best GM ever and I wish I had gotten his name.  He kept giving us extra time (like LOTS of it) and we were successful, though not because we were any good!  This company is now Urban Escape Games.

Room 43 - June 10, 2019

Marietta, GA: Z-Escape

Candy Shop

GM Unknown- Fail (but finished)

Team: With Abi (then Tiny Xander)

There was so much to do here but once again, Z-Escape (now Urban Escape Games) pulled through and let us finish off the clock.

Room 44 - June 10, 2019

Marietta, GA: Z-Escape

British

GM Unknown- Success

Team: With Abi (then Tiny Xander)

This time we did the other side of Pirates, but once again unopposed.  There is still a clock, but Z-Escape seems fairly lackadaisical about it.

Atlanta at the Battery: The Escape Game

Playground

GM Caleb - Success

This was our first experience with The Escape Game.  It is a company with many locations across the States and their rooms are excellent.  This room had a cool twist where we had to smash a piece of glass and we were so scared to do so until the GM confirmed we could.  Apparently, it was fake glass made of sugar.  Not edible.

Atlanta at the Battery: The Escape Game

Prison Break

GM Cody (Awesome)- Success

Our second game of the day was Prison Break.  We only had the photo above, so I inserted this one.  It is a gift we received when we were went to the Nashville TEG Factory to see how rooms were built.  We were invited to tour it after we completed all the local rooms.  The employees at TEG are amazing and the company treats them like family.  Very happy employees means happy customers!

Room 47 - June 15, 2019

Atlanta: Ultimate Escape Game

Enigma

GM Kelsey - Fail

We hated them before and after this, hated them even more and will never go back.  This was the same GM as the previous time who was completely disinterested in her job.   In addition, this room had a lot of confusing red herrings and we were no more than a minute from completing this.  We had 3 of the 4 digits for the code needed.

I was actually pumped to do this room because it was supposed to be about Alan Turing (Enigma Machine).  It really wasn't.

Rooms 48 - June 15, 2019

Atlanta at the Battery: The Escape Game

Special Ops

GM Nathaniel- Success

This was our favorite game at The Escape Game.  First of all, we had a fantastic game master who gave us a lot of clues.  Secondly, the whole thing starts as a market street in the Middle East and then goes into an underground lair (not really) with a missile about to destroy the world.  You can thank us for saving your asses.  Taking pictures at The Escape Game is boring, since they only allow pictures to be taken outside of the room without props.

Room 49 - June 23, 2019

Marietta, GA: Project Escape

Scavenger Hunt

Fail

Though not technically an Escape Room, it was run by Project Escape.  It's a driving scavenger hunt but includes getting out and going to venues.  There is a time limit to be a winner and get a small prize, but we missed it by 20 minutes.  This was an absolute blast and we got to see parts of Marietta we didn't know.

Room 50 - July 6, 2019

Power Springs, GA: Escape Woods

Hopper's Cabin

GM Crystal- Success

Team: With Shelby, David, and 4 public participants

This is the actual building used in the Stranger Things series which I think pretty much gets destroyed in Season 3 (could be wrong).  The building is now used as part of an Escape Room.  Normally, outside knowledge is never needed in Escape Rooms, however, since I am a groupie, knowing about Jim Croce and other stuff helped.
