Cece and Malmö to Copenhagen
It was a cold day in Malmö and Copenhagen, around 35 to 45 degrees, rainy and with a fierce wind (Rose’s friend, Cece, told her it was because we were by the sea). It also snowed/sleeted a bit but by 2 PM on the way back to Malmö, it was sunny again (but still windy). We crossed on the train to Copenhagen to do our Escape Room.
The bridge over the Øresund is 4 miles long and has cars on top and trains below. It takes about 40 minutes by train between the 2 places, which is pretty amazing, since 40 years ago when I traveled the same stretch (on the way to Stockholm), it took about 2 hours by ferry.
We went to an Escape Room at the Brain Game called "The Ring" based on the movie of the same name. It was incredibly awesome, but scared Cece like crazy - it was her first Escape Room ever and it might have been her last. We are such horrible people!
Back to Malmö and McDonald's
After the room, we headed back to Malmö and went to McDonald’s. They had a McVegan sandwich. Since I like mayo with my fries, I had to pay about an extra dollar for a container.
Rose and I were both tired (and Rose was still sick) so went back to the hotel and slept. The original plan called for Rose and Cece to go "clubbing", but Rose did not feel up to it.
We are really pleased with this room at the Radisson Blu and it is much better than the NH Collection chain. We are staying at 2 more Radisson Blu’s in Scotland so looking forwards to that.
