The Trip from Malmö -> Copenhagen -> Amsterdam -> Edinburgh
If this sounds like a rather tedious trip, it was. There was just no direct flight from Copenhagen to Edinburgh, so we had to fly through Amsterdam's famous airport Schipol (you can buy a car there and have it shipped home.)
In addition, Rose what was her worst of being sick. The cabin pressure was really bad on Rose creating incredible pain in her head because her sinuses were plugged up. It didn’t help that we had to do it twice – poor kid – there was nothing I could do. A really nice KLM stewardess, Emily, helped her with nose drops and then hot napkins in cups to create a heat compress.
When we landed, Rose was exhausted but we had paid for 3 Escape Rooms in Edinburgh. I canceled the 9 PM room and we only did 2 rooms, The Distillery and The Cutting Room. They were pretty good rooms, but an awful lot of puzzles to them and we barely finished one but only got 3/5ths of the way on the second.
We stayed at a Radisson Blu again and after the wonderful experience in Malmö were very much looking forward to it. It’s a pretty nice hotel chain – better than the NH Collection. We had another Radisson Blu booked in Glasgow for 2 nights.
The escape rooms were at Summerhall, a former Veterinarian Hospital founded around 1833 by William Dick. We laughed our asses off at this sign (or I did at least).
We didn’t get much sightseeing done. It got dark here at 3:45 PM.
