This was day 2 of the Pinball competition and I was scheduled for a 10 AM start on the Classics. You could buy only one entry and you had to get the best score on 10 machines. I don't think I quite understood the rules before it started. You could play each game twice max and that was it. It wasn't a pump and dump like SFGE where you could keep entering. The top 32 made it to the finals and I was 124th of 229.
I walked around the floor and fell in love with the virtual pinball game accessory by Gibson Pinball. I signed up waiting for their Kickstarter.
After I failed miserably at the classics and since I hadn't purchased good replacement shoes, decided to find a New Balance store. There was one in Belgium, about 50 miles away, so I drove there.
I found some red shoes at the store and they fit better, but again, it was a pair to give to housekeeping, when I discovered I had actually packed my orange shoes.
Seriously, all that ends well.
