Getting Sick and Walking around Glasgow
We slept in quite late to try to recover from our colds/flus. I had gotten it too and Rose’s seemed to be getting worse.
We went to a launderette which turns out to be what they name a place that will let you do wash, but there are women that will also provide that service there, washing, drying, folding and packing into a nice plastic wrapper. All for 10 pounds. Doing it yourself costs about 6 or 7. I liked this idea better instead of waiting around so we dropped it off and went shopping for stuff like drugs. Here was my haul:
Main Reason going to Glasgow? The Nightmare Before Christmas
We headed back to the hotel for a couple hours more rest, then we went to the SSE Hydro which is a big event arena. I took a pic of the SSE Hydro venue on our walk around and this is what it looked like then, below that is a google maps image of it today, and then a pic of it when we went:
The Nightmare Before Christmas
We had VIP tickets but unfortunately, not the TOP kind which let you shake the flesh but the lower kind where you got your own room with other idiots who paid a lot of money and your own private bar (which was NOT free). They also gave us a bag of swag and we did have 5th row orchestra tickets. Here are some pics of the show.
