Trip Day 16 - Cartagena to Xabia

Xabia has nothing much to offer in the way of history or architecture. I picked it because of its location on the map. It kind of juts out in the middle of Spain and I looked around there for a place to stay on Booking.Com. Villa Tranquilo came up and I loved the name and the pictures. I'll show more pics on the Xabia page, but while heading from Cartagena to Xabia, I took the coastal route and saw some amazing buildings in a place called Benidorm in the neighborhood of Poniente.

What drew me was the building called Edificio Intempo - you can read about it here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intempo

I pulled over and took pics. Apparently, this city is made for tourists and residents. There are amusement parks in the area and of course, the beach. It was just one more reason I loved taking this drive in order to see stuff I wouldn't have seen on a train or plane plus the opportunity to just take it easy.
