The Trip from Biel via Zurich to Munich
The day started well enough with a train from Biel to Zürich. The next leg of the journey was by bus which supposedly would save us a whole hour. This is what happened:
This was our bus. Normally, I would have been okay with a delay, but we had scheduled a limo to pick us up at the bus station. I was able to get in touch with the driver and let him know we would be late.
The other thing that happened is that we think Rose got sick on this bus. It was stuffy as hell and hot with many bodies in close proximity. It was right before Covid hit and we think that she might have gotten a precursor to it. She was pretty much sick starting in Brussels all the way to the Vienna when she started feeling better (Day 19):
I thought this was cute so took a pic from the highway - I think Billabong is a city (or town) in Australia:
Entering Munich, I saw this building and had to take a snap. Fraunhofer Society holds the patent for MP3 but does a lot more. It has 29,000 employees and I can't imagine they are all here, but they are headquartered in Munich:
Limo in Munich
We had a limo in Munich that had to wait an extra hour for us due to our delay. This was the second time in two days I was not impressed by limo drivers. Our driver took us to some sites but didn't really explain any of them, nor the history of Munich. There are so many things that happened here of historical importance, not the least the Octoberfest (which had just happened the prior month.) Oh, and Hitler. Here are some pics:
Our driver dropped us off at the Escape Room Venue One Hour Left and we did 2 rooms there.
