Day 2 - Mon Nov 13 - Nuremberg

Starting out and going to the Main Train Station for the Walking Tour

The Novotel had a wonderful breakfast buffet including custom prepared omelettes.  On both mornings, I had the same thing.

On this day, I had a walking tour starting at the train station, but I was pretty early since it was only 5 minutes walk from the hotel, so I walked around a bit and took some photos.

Walking Tour

Nic from South Africa was our tour guide.  He was funny and awesome.  He took us first through the old city and I got to see in daylight some of the things I saw the previous evening.  We then took a tram to the Honor Temple, the Nazi Rally Grounds, and the planned but unfinished Congress Hall.

The only negative was the constant rain all day.

I originally wanted to go to see the court where the WWII Nuremberg trials were held, but was pretty tired and had seen enough, so went back to the hotel to get ready for the evening.

Shopping AND Bowling

I ended the day by shopping at Aldi's and then going to bowling.  What a perfect combo!
