First Full Day in Vienna
My best friend Peter had never done an escape room and his wife Hanni didn’t want to go to one. So before booking, I confirmed with him that he would do 4 rooms.
The first room we did was called “Going Underground”. He absolutely loved the room and to tell you the truth, it was one of the top rooms we’ve done in Europe. Nothing matched Live Thriller or Amsterdam Catacombs, but in solid second place are several rooms including this one. It has ALIENS! And a space ship! Just freaking awesome.
Our next rooms were downtown, so we went to McDonald’s downtown on the Ring – Mickey D’s in Europe are so different than in the states. First, everything is automated and secondly, they are completely crowded. Rose stood near a table and grabbed it as soon as they folks were done because there were no tables free. You order here:
The "Ring" is a circle around the inner city of Vienna that was built during the glory years of the Empire in the late 1800's. The streets are lined with large buildings, monuments, and churches. Here is a pic of the Votive Church:
After McDonald's, we did 3 more Escape Rooms - it was the first trilogy rooms I had ever done (or even know of.)
When we were done, we called it a night because Rose wasn't feeling well.
